About Us
There are many ways you can take part in a PSC Partners fundraiser:
We need your help. Together we can succeed in this challenge!
THE CHALLENGE: Each year, we hold a “Road to…..” fundraiser to raise funds to support important PSC research to find new treatments, the causes and a cure for PSC. Our annual virtual road always starts in the city where we held our last annual patient conference and ends in the city where we’ll be holding our next conference. Our 2009 Road to Chicago fundraiser brought in $145,000. Our wildly successful 2010 Road to Connecticut fundraising campaign brought in over $200,000, thanks to an amazing anonymous donor who matched the first $100,000 that our members raised!!! Help us surpass this goal in 2011.
HOW TO HELP: We are already on the virtual Road to Sacramento, site of our 2011 conference (April 29-May 1, 2011). We have a long road to travel from Hartford, Connecticut to Sacramento, California, so please help us raise funds to support PSC research. If you’d like to give an informational handout to your potential donors, click HERE for a two-sided handout that you can copy. Consider donating what you can, contacting family, friends or colleagues to donate, or holding your own fundraiser.
THE RESEARCH:
In August 2010, our Scientific/Medical Advisory Board will be choosing research proposals to continue funding cutting edge PSC research. Please help the Scientific/Medical Advisory Committee fund the best and brightest investigators to solve the puzzle of PSC (http://pscpartners.org/grants). Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us reach our goal.
To donate, just send us a check to:
or Pay by credit card via PayPal.
Please:
To get started, contact Sandi Pearlman at kizzersmom@yahoo.com or Lee Bria at leedeubert@gmail.com to request a form to list all your donors and their donations, to request a sample letter to send to friends and family, or to ask for suggestions for creative ways to raise money for the Road to Sacramento.
Help us make a difference in the lives and future of all PSCers. Every penny gathered and every dollar collected can get us closer to our destination. You will be helping us increase the scope of our research grants program and eventually find that elusive cure. As of May 2010, PSC Partners Seeking a Cure is proud to be supporting $317,706 in research grants. Help us bring this total to 0.5 million in 2010!

Thank you to Lee Bria, our Member Fundraising Chair, and Sandi Pearlman, who organized this fundraiser. A thank you to the hundreds of donors to the Road to Connecticut.
Other Fundraisers

October 1-3, 2010
Our first Save the Day fundraising event, held the weekend of October 3-4, 2009, was so successful that we’ve decided to make it our annual fall fundraiser. This is the chance for all PSCers nationally and internationally to hold a local fundraiser of their choice. In 2009, here were some ideas that our members came up with:
For other ideas, click here. Use your creativity and start planning your local fall fundraiser now. Watch this site for updates on Save the Day 2010, or write to Sandi at kizzersmom@yahoo.com or Lee Bria at leedeubert@gmail.com .
Thank you to Lee B., Sandi P., and Joanne G. for organizing this project.
We’re together in this fight, whatever it takes. Together, we will Save the Day!
If you’d like a very simple way to help, try Goodsearch. This is a free online search and shop engine (think Google) which lets us click our way towards a cure every single day. With no cost to the user, log onto www.goodsearch.com and choose PSC Partners Seeking a Cure, Englewood, CO as your charity and save it (if your computer doesn’t automatically do so.) From that point on, every search that you make through Goodsearch on any topic will generate money for PSC Partners and there’s no limit on what we can earn.
If you live in Michigan or Ohio and do your grocery shopping at Kroger, please take a minute to join our Kroger Community Rewards Program. Register with us to get your Kroger Plus Card, and then a percentage of every purchase that you make from now on at Kroger will be donated to PSC Partners Seeking a Cure. To get started, write to Debbie Thompson at designingdebbiet@yahoo.com , and she will send you the required bar code. Just take this to your local Kroger store, and they will issue your Kroger Plus Card.
Thank you to Debbie T. for coordinating this project.
We welcome suggestions from supporters who would like to create their own fundraiser for PSC Partners Seeking a Cure. If you have an idea, please fill out the short Project Proposal Form and send it to leedeubert@gmail.com or to Ricky at contactus@pscpartners.org.
