22nd Annual PSC Partners Conference + AASLD Liver Meeting

November 4-9, 2026 | Denver, CO

We’re excited to announce that this year’s PSC Partners Conference is headed back to Denver for a one-day gathering on Thursday, November 4.

In partnership with the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), attendees will also have the opportunity to join The Liver Meeting, taking place November 5–9. Bringing these experiences together creates a unique chance to connect as a community and engage more deeply with the broader liver field.

You’ll have a full day dedicated to the PSC community, including research updates, expert speakers, and meaningful time together, followed by the opportunity to attend The Liver Meeting alongside PSC Partners staff as our guests.

AASLD will be holding 11 patient and caregiver sessions during the first three days, developed with input from their Patient Advisory Group. These sessions cover a wide range of liver diseases and conditions and important topics, offering expanded access to leading research updates, clinical insights, and expert perspectives. This approach allows us to maintain a focused PSC Partners experience while also connecting our community to the larger hepatology field in a meaningful way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is PSC Partners not hosting the Annual Conference in its usual three-day format this year?

Because The Liver Meeting is being held in our own backyard of Denver, Colorado, PSC Partners made the intentional decision to align our 22nd Annual Conference with this major international liver conference.

This allows our community to benefit from being present where leading researchers, hepatologists, and transplant professionals from around the world are gathering.

As a result, the PSC Partners portion will be a dedicated one-day community event, November 4th, with additional opportunities to attend patient-focused sessions at The Liver Meeting.

What is AASLD?

The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) is the leading professional organization for scientists and healthcare providers working in liver disease.

Their annual meeting, The Liver Meeting, brings together thousands of experts from around the world to share research, clinical advances, and education.

Why is the event attached to AASLD?

  • Holding our Annual Conference alongside The Liver Meeting creates a unique opportunity for our community to:
  • Be present at one of the world’s leading liver research meetings

  • Strengthen connections between PSC patients, caregivers, clinicians, and the research community
  • Take advantage of a rare opportunity to host our event locally in Denver alongside this global meeting.

Will there be opportunities to connect with other PSC patients and caregivers?

Yes. The entire PSC Partners community day, November 4th, is designed for community connection. Additional opportunities to connect will be available throughout the week for those who decide to also attend The Liver Meeting.

Will this replace the Annual Conference going forward?

No. PSC Partners plans to host our 23rd Annual Conference in its traditional three-day format in Spring 2027.

This decision was made with the support and leadership of the PSC Partners CEO, Ricky Safer, and Board of Directors, with careful consideration of how to still host a conference in 2026 and align it with our organizational priorities.
