Happy Anniversary to New Liver!

Happy Anniversary Duke!

It seems like we met just yesterday but it’s actually been 8 years since we were introduced in the operating room. It was love at first stitch, and before long we were active and enjoying life – you even helped me train and run that ½ marathon just 5 months after we met. We’ve had our rough patches, and I’m sorry for the times I tried to reject you, but we’ve stayed together and weathered the storms even when that bully Paul Samuel Cosgrove re-entered our lives 6 years ago. Thankfully, even though he lives just across, the street we don’t run into him that often, and that keeps us both healthy and happy. So, Happy Anniversary and here’s hoping we get to celebrate many, many more together!
