WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR PSC PARTNERS CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS!

Scholarship Guidelines & Application

We are excited to offer scholarships for PSC patients and pediatric parents/guardians who, for financial reasons, would be unable to attend the 20th Anniversary 2024 PSC Partners 20th Anniversary Annual Conference. These scholarships are being offered through the generosity of The Ken S. Hollander Foundation and the Edna Foundation. The scholarships allow those who would otherwise be unable to attend the Conference to benefit from this important weekend. We respectfully request that only those with true financial hardship apply. If you are interested, please apply as soon as possible, because the scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each scholarship recipient will receive:

  • Paid Conference registration fee
  • Three nights hotel reservations at the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa
  • Round-trip economy flight (Within the U.S. and Canada)
  • International applicants must cover transportation costs to and from the U.S. Flights within the U.S. will be covered through the scholarship.
  • Ground transportation and from the resort

There is a limit of one scholarship per family, and there are a limited number of scholarships available. Additionally, the names of scholarship applicants and recipients will be kept confidential.

Scholarships will be awarded to those who meet the following criteria:

  • Diagnosis of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) – Applicants must have been diagnosed with PSC or be the parent/guardian of a pediatric PSC patient.
  • Financial Need – Applicants are those who, without this financial support, would be unable to attend the 20th Anniversary 2024 PSC Partners Annual Conference.
  • Scholarships are Non-transferable – If the scholarship recipient cannot attend the Conference, the Conference scholarship will be awarded to the next applicant on the waiting list.
  • Scholarship Notification – Once you have been awarded a scholarship and you have confirmed your attendance, PSC Partners will make your flight, hotel reservation, and pay your registration fee.

Please Note:

  • These scholarships are solely for PSC patients and parents/guardians of pediatric PSC patients.
  • Parents of pediatric patients can apply for the scholarship for their child (aged 13-17), if they will be attending, or for themselves if their child is too young or unable to attend.
  • These scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. A waitlist will be kept in the order of application.
  • We will notify scholarship recipients once the scholarship application is reviewed and accepted.
    • If an applicant is selected for a scholarship but cancels their attendance to the Conference for any reason, the next application available in line based on the time/date stamp will be awarded the scholarship.
